Community Building Experience:
2015-2017: St. Cloud Toyota Bell Ringing with the Salvation Army North
We've all been shopping and heard the jingling at local grocery stores come December. Where things may differ, is dependent on if you've been in the shoes of those singing carols and ringing the bells. At St. Cloud Toyota, each year the dealership's staff volunteered for two four hours shifts during the holiday season. One of these shifts would be dedicated to the sales department and the other to the service/parts department. My part was to simply organize the time slots and make sure that everything went smoothly. After three years of running the shifts, are team brought in well over $2,000 for the local Salvation Army. That's an extra $2,000 that feeds, houses, and clothes those who are in unfortunate situations right in the local community.
