Community Building Experience:
2016: Habitat for Humanity “Like-Drive”
Social Media is said to have us all at our finger tips one hour and forty minutes a day. This astounding number got me thinking. Can an organization harvest a small amount of this time to raise money for a local organization? The result was a Facebook "Like" campaign where $1 would be donated to the Central Minnesota Habitat for Humanity for each like. Our goal was to receive 1,000 new "Likes" over a two month period, and that's exactly what we did! As you can see pictured to the right, the campaign even exceeded expectations.
